We are delighted to offer World Hydrogen Week delegates an exciting opportunity to climb aboard the brand new Ab Initio sustainably future-proofed ship. Equipped with innovative clean technologies, this training vessel is a floating lab for advancing inland green shipping innovation.
Along with solar panels and a wastewater treament system on board, the ship’s hydrogen system is a 50kW 'Y50' hydrogen fuel cell system by zepp.solutions. This drop in system doubles the zero-emission range of the Ab Initio from 4 to 8 hours and has a large scope of integration with the ship. What sets the Ab Initio apart is its ability to partially generate its own energy, thanks to interchangeable generators, making it adaptable for various future advancements, including fuel cell or hydrogen technology.
Our 1-hour tours will offer a unique to visit the Ab Initio training vessel, with time to explore the green technologies on board, ask the technologists your questions, and enjoy some light refreshments.
*NB* Ship will remained docked during the tour. The hydrogen storage + fuel cell system will either be integrated into ship or, renders and a dummy system identical to what will be installed will be on display in the vessel’s classroom..
There are only 30 places per trip so book now to avoid disappointment
*Please note – Tour tickets can only be booked as part of your conference attendance.
Each group will leave World Hydrogen Congress at the World Trade Centre and walk over to the dock where the tour begins
